Do you remember your first workout at Fortitude? How did you feel before/after?
I had a lot of pain from a frozen shoulder and very stiff joints before joining Fortitude and above all I had a low stamina and poor self confidence .
First day I was very confused and intimidated and the place looked so foreign to me. My first WOD had some wall-balls , runnings and some AAb . That was terrifying and I could barely walk back home. I remember waking up later that night being unable to straighten out. And of course it took a while before I was ready for day two.
But I did eventually come back and I started enjoying all the slightest yet positive changes in my body . I have gained more energy and considerable improvements in my flexibility and now I feel more positive in mind and body.
What is your favourite movement? Why?
That feeling of – lungs on fire and heart trying to leap from chest by the end of each WOD is my most favourite movements. 🙂
What is your least favourite movement? Why?
Boxjumbs are still a huge problem area for me
What are your interests outside of training?
Am passionate about Indian classical dance – bharathnatyam . And enjoy cooking traditional South Indian cuisines for my kids

I can speak and follow 4 languages
What motivates you to keep coming back to Fortitude Fitness?
I enjoy seeing how much I am improving at the workouts and feeling more confident . I really want to be healthy and don’t want to go back to how I was before.
