How long have you been at Fortitude and what got you started?

Since October 2021.. I needed to get moving during lock down!

What was your very first day at Fortitude like?

Really welcoming, everyone was really friendly

Tell us some of your recent accomplishments. What goals do you have for 2022!?

Got myself my first few double unders, looking forward to tidying them up and setting some consecutive jumps! Some unassisted pull ups would be fab too!

What kind of changes have you experienced since starting Fortitude that were completely unexpected (ie. new friends, “family”, the community, more self-confidence, etc)?

I love the people at the gym, doesn’t matter if you are tired, don’t fancy it or feel like you can’t do something.. everyone is so supportive and gives you a g up to push outside of your comfort zone! Also appreciating everyone is different shapes, sizes and capabilities but sharing the same goal of achieving more than yesterday is really motivating for me and helped me feel comfortable quickly 🙂

Favourite workout or movement?

Probably deadlifts.. working on getting that butt to the ground with wall balls

Hobbies, Talents and or Interests? What does a day in your life look like outside of being an athlete?

Exploring cool walks, dancing, reading, listening to music, hanging with friends
