How long have you been at Fortitude and what got you started?

Just over a year. I was roped in by my friends that were already members

What was your very first day at Fortitude like?

First got a taste at Metcon Madness and that was enough to convince me to join.

Tell us some of your recent accomplishments. What goals do you have for 2022!?

My team recently came second in the Discipline Games comp!
But my goal for this year is to be able to do more than one muscle-up and handstand walk the length of the gym.

What kind of changes have you experienced since starting Fortitude that were completely unexpected (ie. new friends, “family”, the community, more self-confidence, etc)?

I’m now a lot stronger than my boyfriend!

Favourite workout or movement?

Double unders and some heavy cleans.

Hobbies, Talents and or Interests? What does a day in your life look like outside of being an athlete?

You’ll typically find me at the beach surfing, finding a cool camp spot or working on my tan.

Advice for newbies

Just give it a go! No one’s judging and everyone is there to support you on your journey!
