How long have you been at Fortitude and what got you started?

It’s probably been 18 months and I started because of Maria, I wanted a place to train close to work and here we are

What was your very first day at Fortitude like?

I was physically broken after my first workout, I didn’t know how to handle a barbell and kettlebell but I couldn’t wait to get back the next day

Tell us some of your recent accomplishments. What goals do you have for 2022!?

I guess the level of fitness achieved, not extreme but good for what I’m looking for. I’m doing my 20km of bike ride every day now and that helps… My goal is to improve my gymnastics

What kind of changes have you experienced since starting Fortitude that were completely unexpected (ie. new friends, “family”, the community, more self-confidence, etc)?

My food regimen has improved a lot, working out hard makes me think twice about my food choices

Favourite workout or movement?

It has to be assault bike and box over

Hobbies, Talents and or Interests? What does a day in your life look like outside of being an athlete?

I love cooking, I spend an hour every Sunday for my weekly meal prep so I don’t have to waste time every single day. I love to watch Football and Formula 1, my job gives me plenty of time to watch sport in early mornings

Advice for newbies

Just such it up the first 2 weeks and then it will get better
