Do you remember your first workout at Fortitude? How did you feel before/after?
I remember feeling like I’d never get the barbell exercises down but now most of them are second nature.
What is your favourite movement? Why?
I love doing any and all barbell movements. Handstands and anything else we do in Antonia’s gymnastics class!
What is your least favourite movement? Why?
Please, please, no more burpees, I beg you…but for some odd reason I like devil’s press…
What are your interests outside of training?
I enjoy investing in the stock market, baseball, college basketball, finding good music (usually with the help of Dana), gardening and being environmentally conscious.
What is one random fact about you?
I can confidently operate large machinery (I grew up on a farm in Iowa).
What motivates you to keep coming back to Fortitude Fitness?
Fortitude is one of a couple changes I’ve made in the last two years that has completely transformed my physical and mental health. I’m a better overall person when I consistently exercise. The family feel of Fortitude also makes a huge difference for Tally, Harriet, Fiona and me to get excited to come back. Thanks Ryan!
