Do you remember your first workout at Fortitude? How did you feel before/after?
I was really skeptical of the whole CrossFit format for working out so was probably a bit guarded, haha. But since joining I’ve really grown to enjoy both the strength and cardio aspects of our workouts. I now get really good satisfaction from a hard cardio workout.
What is your favourite movement? Why?
Absolutely Squat Cleans. They feel the best when you nail it, and you can go the heaviest of the Olympic Lifts in this. Hang Snatch is a close second.
What is your least favourite movement? Why?
Front Squats – stupid considering I like Squat Cleans but they’re just so uncomfortable!!!
What are your interests outside of training?
Eating. Haha, nah. I love eating out and making delicious food. Love a good TV show and movie too.
What is one random fact about you?
I can’t do double unders. My brain can’t spin the rope fast enough without jumping faster. Don’t @ me.
What motivates you to keep coming back to Fortitude Fitness?
So I can eat. And feeling strong. Haha!
